Car Parking

For motorcycle users there are two car parks with dedicated motorcycle parking areas, although any of the above listed car parks can be used. The dedicated areas are located at Spinning School lane and Corporation Street car park (next to Assembly rooms). Parking for motorcycle users is free of charge.

Car Parks 4U is a free website which you can use to find car parks at any location across the UK. You can also check what facilities are available, plan your route and add the data to your SatNav.

  

COACH PARKING

Coach parking for pre-booked groups is free of charge within Tamworth town centre and centrally located within the Castle Grounds, within easy reach of the main town’s attractions.  There are dedicated drop off and collection points  within the town and when you book your coach parking, we will send you maps in advance.

If you pre-book your group visit or let us know in advance the date of your intended visit we can send you a free parking permit for use in the Jolly Sailor Coach park, please contact stacy-birt@tamworth.gov.uk for more information.
