For Shopaholics, plenty of choice, ample parking
Tamworth can really offer you the best of both worlds if you are planning a day at the shops. There is a great mix of independent stores and major high street names in Ankerside Shopping Centre and the town centre and Ventura Retail Parks. The Castle grounds connects the two shopping destinations, just a short walk between the two and is a great place to explore, picnic and play. Tamworth is also famous for its historic market dating back to 1560, held every Tuesday and Saturday.
