Tamworth has a superb array of sporting facilities and activities in the area.  Tamworth FC is located in the town centre along with the SnowDome and Leisure Island, a must for those seeking the thrills of the slopes. There is an 18 hole golf course in Amington and the Belfry is just minutes from the town centre. Tamworth has a superb off road cycle network and don't worry if you haven't your bike, you can hire one on a daily rate.  Pitch 'n' Put golf, tennis and a skateboard park are all available in the Castle Grounds, there is even a outdoor gym.
