Help Ruby the dragon find her lost eggs at Tamworth Castle
Families are being invited to take part in an egg-stra special Easter egg hunt around the rooms and corridors of Tamworth Castle this April.
Ruby the castle dragon has disguised her eggs so that the dragon catcher cannot identify them. Her brother, Hafgrim has taken the extra precaution of hiding them in different parts of the castle but unfortunately he cannot remember where he has hidden them! Visitors will be asked to scour every corner of the ancient building to find Ruby’s lost eggs.
Egg hunters can record their findings on a quiz sheet and will be given a small reward upon completion.
The annual egg hunt is a great activity to enjoy with children during the Easter school holidays. It takes place daily between 10.30am and 3pm, starting from Saturday, April 13 and running until Sunday, April 28.
Normal admission prices apply for the Easter egg hunt. Entry is priced at £7.50 for adults, £6.50 concessions, £5 for children over five and £3 for children aged between two and four. Under-twos get in free of charge. Family tickets are also available for £23, based on two adults and two children. No pre-booking necessary.
Please note: visitors will not be able to find Ruby as she will be too busy looking for her eggs!
